Keith Rupert Murdoch AC has been Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive Director of News Corporation Ltd., since its formation in 1979 and Chairman of the Board since 1991. Mr. Murdoch has been Chief Executive Officer of Fox Entertainment Group Inc. since 1995 and Chairman since 1992. Mr. Murdoch is a world-renowned corporate executive in the telecommunications and entertainment industries. Mr. Murdoch served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ... of News America from 1985 to 1996 and President of News America from 1985 to 1996. He has been Chairman of the Board of Sky Global Networks Inc. since June 2000 and it's Director since 1998. He has been Chairman of DirecTV Group Inc. since December 22, 2003. He has been Chairman of BSkyB since June 1999. He has been Chairman of British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC since June 1999 and has been its Director since 1990. He served as the Chairman of STAR Group from 1993 to 1998. He has been China Netcom Group Corp. (Hong Kong) Ltd.'s Non Executive Director since October, 2004 and serves as Chairman of Compensation Committee and previously served it’s as a Director of since 2001. He has been a Director of News Limited, News Corporation's principal subsidiary in Australia, since 1953, a Director of News International, News Corporation's principal subsidiary in the United Kingdom, since 1969 and a Director of News America, News Corporation's principal subsidiary in the United States, since 1973. Mr. Murdoch has been a Director of STAR Group since 1993, Gemstar TV Guide International Inc. since May 2001, Fox Entertainment Group Inc., since 1985 and the Chairman of its Remuneration Committee. He has been a Director of British Sky Broadcasting BSkyB since 1990 and Phillip Morris Companies Inc. since 1989. He has been a Director of China Netcom Group Corp. (Hong Kong) Ltd. since October 2004 and previously served as a Director from 2001 to June 30, 2004. Mr. Murdoch served as a Director of MCI Communications Corporation since 1995. Mr. Murdoch is the father of James R. Murdoch and Lachlan K. Murdoch.
