BACKGROUND

Lt. General Kenneth A. Minihan (Ret.) is a Managing Director at Paladin Capital Group and is also a Member of the Homeland Security Fund Investment Committee. He focuses on the development and implementation of new investment opportunities for Paladin's Homeland Security Fund. Prior to joining Paladin, Lt. General Minihan was the 14th Director of the National Security Agency and Central Security Service. While at the National Security Agency, he was instrumental in the ... definition and implementation of the National Information Assurance Program. He has substantial experience in capital raising, enterprise operations, business development, and business readiness assurance. He devotes considerable attention to and consults on national security affairs. Lt. Gen. Minihan has more than 45 years of public sector leadership experience. Lt. General Minihan represents Paladin Capital Group on the Board of Directors of Arxan Technologies, ClearCube Technology, KSR, Inc., Glasshouse Technologies, and Nexidia. He is also a Director at Command Information since April 21, 2008. During his military service at the national level, Lt. General Minihan demonstrated a long history of making new technologies operational and implementing leading edge services and products in a competitive environment where lives were often at risk. During the last 20 years of the Cold War and the transition to the Information Age, he was instrumental in the definition and selection of technology solutions to solve the most difficult national security information needs. Throughout that time, Lt. General Minihan helped set the performance standards for information enterprise operations. He served the military in various capacities for over 30 years, playing vital roles in the selection of technology solutions to solve national security requirements. In addition, Lt. General Minihan helped set the standards for information enterprise applications. He helped found the Intelligence and National Security Alliance. He was the Chairman and President of the Security Affairs Support Association, from 1999 to 2005. He served as the Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and Central Security Service (CSS), as well as Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) during the Clinton Administration. He is also a Member of the Air Force Association, the National Military Intelligence Association, and other national organizations. Among his awards and decorations are the National Security Medal, the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Bronze Star, the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, and the Legion of Merit. Lt. General Minihan holds a B.A. Degree from Florida State University, a M.A. Degree from the Naval Postgraduate School, and has completed executive Development Programs at the University of Illinois and Harvard University.
