NEWS BITES ASIAN MARKETS

Manila Mining Corporation (PH:MA), the 8th largest mining company by market capitalisation in the Philippines', dropped 0.30 centavo (or 4.7%) to close at 6.10 centavo. Compared with the PSEi Index, which rose 74.2 points (or 1.1%) on the day, this was a relative price change of -5.8%. The volume was 0.4 times the average trading of 353.7 million shares.
