TORONTO, March 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Last night's surprise double eviction shocked the Big Brother Canada houseguests. In SliceTM's eviction episode, Tom Plant of Edmonton and Liza Stinton of Toronto, one of the season's hottest showmance couples, were voted out of the Big Brother Canada house by votes of eight to one and eight to zero respectively.

"I'm feeling a little rough, a little shocked. People were building alliances with me for next week," said Tom Plant.

"I feel amazing! My plan was to be a social threat and to seduce all the men into having a crush on me. Success!," said Liza Stinton. "The reason Tom and I are out is because we're better looking, we're smarter and we're stronger"

Earlier in the week HOH Gary Levy made a major show altering move, nominating the showmance pair Tom Plant and Liza Stinton for eviction. Following Tom's exit from the house, the houseguests were immediately challenged to a new, HOH trivia competition called Face Off. During the last trivia question posed to finalists Alec Beall and Andrew Monaghan, Alec gave Andrew the win. Andrew then nominated Liza Stinton and Suzette Amaya for the second eviction. Emmett Blois won the POV competition that could have saved either Liza or Suzette but instead decided not to use his power and let Andrew's nominations stand. In a final vote of eight to zero, Liza became the fifth houseguest evicted from the house.

Tune in Sunday night at 9 pm ET/PT to find out who will be the next HOH and which houseguests will be on the block for eviction.
