Sept. 28--Three different shops have added to the diversity of Fox Cities retail. A barber shop, costume store and clothing boutique found new spaces.
? Elements Unleashed found it needed to be unleashed from its tiny location in downtown Neenah. Owner Catherine Fleischer moved the growing women's apparel boutique four doors down the street to 210 W. Wisconsin Ave., doubling its space. Besides special occasion clothing and Lucchese cowboy boots, the store offers fur coat services including redesign, cleaning, storage and resale or consignment. It kept the same phone number: 920-284-4664
? The Darboy Barber Shop opens Sunday at N474 Eisenhower Dr., Buchanan, in the shopping plaza that also houses El Azteca. Owner/barber Cherryl Clark has worked in other Fox Cities barber shops for nine years, and this is her first solo venture. Like her competition, she'll have $11 cash haircuts, will accept appointments and walk-ins, and is open every day. "And we have peanuts," she said. 920-840-6726
? Halloween City, the second big temporary Halloween store to open this season, put it ghouls and goblins in part of the former Big Lots spot at W3165 Van Roy Road in Buchanan. That's in the strip mall east of Festival Foods. The store has costumes, makeup and Halloween decor. On the other side of town, Halloween Express, near Home Depot, was the first large seasonal shop to open.
