As technology giants, electronics manufacturers and retailers were busy showcasing their latest products at Gitex Shopper, InQuim International was all set to cater to shoppers' demand for accessories required to ensure smooth operations of their premium electronics gadgets.

Based in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, InQuim International was set up in Dubai and New York with a key focus in trading and distribution area across the Gulf, the CIS, Africa, Far East and North America for IT and telecom products. It has diversified its operations in the manufacturing of premium flat-screen TV accessories such as wall mounts, stands and HDMI cables. Today, it enjoys over 35 per cent market share in consumer electronics' accessories business across different market and has become the leading OEM supplier to leading brands across Middle East, China and India.
"The company has grown manifold over the past eight years. The surge in demand for flat-screen LCD and LED TVs worldwide over the last five to six years has fuelled the demand for new and innovative accessories including display mounts and HDMI accessories," Tayal said.
He said the company continuously adds new and innovative products to address all consumer needs across all demographics. Last year, it accounted for over 7.8 million units sold for flat-screen TVs with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran together accounting for more than a 60 per cent share.
"We emphasise in addressing the customer need and based on which we design suitable solutions for our customers. Striving to introduce more innovative solutions today our product portfolio range from futuristic mounts -- robotic wall brackets, HD retail solutions like HDMI splitters and HD generators, high-speed HDMI cables , wall switches and sockets and Smart TV solutions [Android Mini PC], and others," he said.
"The company not only specialises in designing and manufacturing innovative solutions for consumers, but also a testament for its excellent customer service and support to its business partners. We understand the requirement of our partners and work hand in hand with them to develop products suitable to their specific requirements."
Tayal said the company has recorded more-than-expected growth over the past few years with a compound aggregate growth rate of over 28 per cent year-on-year. "This growth has leads us set-up of our new branch operation of the company in new territories like Europe, Australia, South America and the African subcontinent."
To a question about the company's expansion in the region and other international markets, he said: "In the next growth phase, the company has plans for expanding into European and South American market in the next two to three years with dedicated operations to address the needs and requirements of business partners and consumers. This year, our focus is deeply penetrating into African subcontinent and Turkey as one of the fastest emerging market for consumer electronics business."
About key markets, he said major growth is coming from emerging markets including India, China, Russia and Africa, but the continued price erosion in the LCD and LED TV segments help the company in growing worldwide. "The affordability of larger TV screen sizes has encouraged consumers to purchase more innovative accessories including wall mounts helping in our growth."

About Gitex, he said the IT focus event has evolved as a showcase platform for various cross category products and services over the years. "It became important for us to get associated with event like Gitex and showcase our new solutions to such broader audience from Gulf region. We are excited to participate in Gitex this year with a much larger presence as compared to last year with dedicated areas highlighting each of our product segment separately."
About last year's experience at Gitex Shopper, he said: "We had a tremendous response in 2012 especially from trade visitors from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other GCC countries, who are keen to bring our product solutions to their market."
About new products being introduced at Gitex, he said this year consumers can witness a new HDMI video wall solutions, which allow consumers to create their own display video wall of 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 matrix using any standard LCD/LED television or monitor with HDMI interface.
