Jan. 31--Stock Development closed out 2013 with a 57 percent increase in home sales for December.
The North Naples developer also reported nearly 600 new home sales for all of last year.
That was a nearly 44 percent increase in contracts with new home sales worth $342 million for last year, compared to 2012. Last year also saw a 77 percent increase in dollar volum over 2012.
In December, Stock Development reported 44 new home sales worth $24.3 million -- a 57 percent increase in contracts and a 77 percent increase in dollar volume over 2012.
Stock Development communities include Quail West, Olde Cypress and Lely Resort in Collier County.
In Lee County, Stock is developing Paseo off Daniels Parkway.

Naples property management business sold
Adam Bortz, CEO of Towne Properties, has announced his company's purchase of Platinum Property Management of Naples.
Towne Properties hired the existing team of 13, led by district manager Michael Towns, who manages the 33 condominium and homeowner associations comprising 4,800 homes in the Naples portfolio.
Mount Adams, Ohio-based Towne Properties has been in business since 1961 and built Cincinnati's first condominium in 1967.
Towne also manages owner associations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
Conditioned Air honored
Conditioned Air Corp. of Naples Inc. has been named the "Best Contractor to Work for" in the South by the NEWS, an industry publication on air conditioning, heating and refrigeration.
The company was honored for its above industry standard employee retention and development programs, open book policy, and hiring approach.
Conditioned Air, founded in 1962, services the Gulf coast, from Bradenton to Marco Island.
