Amdocs announced that Cellcom Israel has selected Amdocs to replace disparate CRM systems with software from Amdocs' latest CES 9.1 portfolio, consolidating CRM operations across wireless, wireline, Internet and international-calling lines of business. Telefonica Selects Amdocs Products and Services for Quad-Play Transformation in Chile and Peru

Amdocs announced that Telefonica has selected Amdocs for transformation projects in Chile and Peru. By modernizing and standardizing Telefonica's business support systems (BSS) on Amdocs software, Telefonica subscribers in these countries will be able to move seamlessly between all customer interaction channels, whether self-service or agent assisted, via the Web, call center or at the retail store, across its entire quad-play offering -- wireline, wireless, Internet and TV.
Amdocs Announces MetroPCS Deploys Amdocs Enterprise Payment Processing Solution

Amdocs announced that MetroPCS has deployed the Amdocs Enterprise Payment Processing solution. The solution, which has already been deployed and achieving strong results, is part of a strategic multi-year agreement to enable MetroPCS to enhance and optimize its customers' electronic payment options, while reducing the operational costs associated with customer payments. MetroPCS is using Amdocs Enterprise Payment Processing solution, a multi-channel payment gateway service, to offer its customers electronic payment options across all channels including Interactive Voice Response, web portal, SMS or through an agent in the contact center. The solution also enables smart tender steering which processes payments using the most cost-effective transactional method to minimize transaction fees and maximize revenue. The private cloud-based solution is run from an Amdocs managed services data center and interfaces with multiple banks and other financial institutions, as well as contact center services.
Amdocs Announces First End-To-End, Communications-Specific Big Data Analytics Portfolio

Amdocs announced the expansion of its big data analytics capabilities to become the first end-to-end provider of communications-specific big data solutions encompassing business and operational support systems (B/OSS), network and social media. Including new big data applications, an enriched, carrier-grade Insight platform and data science as a service (DSaaS), Amdocs portfolio will enable service providers to better harness their data assets and improve the customer experience. The announcement builds on Amdocs TeraScale, Amdocs Proactive Care and industry focused BI and Data Warehousing Services, as well as leveraging the company's recent network optimization acquisitions, Actix and Celcite, to extend its big data reach into the network. The Amdocs big data analytics offerings include: Amdocs big data applications: A comprehensive set of applications driving better decision making and actionable recommendations to address service providers' business needs in the areas of network optimization; operational optimization; contextual marketing and customer care and experience. TIM Brasil Deploys Amdocs Unified Communications to Power "Blah"

Amdocs announced that TIM Brasil has deployed Amdocs Unified Communications to power its new "blah" service. blah provides an unmatched user experience across all the subscriber's devices centered on a unified address book, merging device and social network contacts. The app saves money for the subscriber and keeps them inside the TIM Brasil brand while they use messaging and communication services such as VoIP, video chats and rich instant messaging. The blah app is available to any mobile subscriber, not just TIM Brasil customers, on Android and iOS, and acts as the launch pad for all the subscriber's communication needs. On opening blah, the subscriber sees their combined contacts from all devices and Facebook, and communicates with these contacts straight from the app. By highlighting contacts that are fellow subscribers, or intelligently reformatting dialed numbers to use a discount long distance provider where available, TIM Brasil subscribers can save call costs.
