Global Eagle Entertainment Provides Inflight Entertainment Content for All Nippon Airways

Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. has renewed its contract with All Nippon Airways Trading Co. to provide an extensive catalogue of local and international inflight entertainment (IFE). Under this renewed agreement, Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE) will deliver content and services in multiple languages to All Nippon Airways (ANA), including movies, television programming, audio content and technical services. In addition, GEE will continue to provide the airline with a variety of creative services to enhance the ANA brand and engage the airline's passengers.
Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. Announces Changes in Management Team

Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Dave Davis as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. A veteran of Northwest Airlines and US Airways, Davis was previously the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE). He takes over from John LaValle, who will continue to work with the company as a consultant. Before his appointment as CEO, Davis served as GEE's Chief Operating Officer since January 2014, Chief Financial Officer since January 2013, and a board member of Row 44 since 2011. Davis spent a total of nearly nine years at Northwest Airlines, ultimately as EVP and Chief Financial Officer, where he played a leading role in Northwest's merger with Delta Air Lines. Other positions held by Davis have included Senior Managing Director of Perseus LLC, Partner and Co-Founder of Bearpath Capital LLC and Chief Financial Officer of Kraton Polymers and US Airways. Davis will report directly to the Board and was unanimously appointed CEO. As part of the change, John LaValle is also stepping down from the Board of Directors. Davis will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer until after the filing of GEE's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the second quarter, at which time Mike Zemetra, currently SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, will be appointed acting CFO.

Boeing and Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. said they have signed a new technical services agreement to evaluate Global Eagle Entertainment's satellite-based connectivity solution for line-fit offerability to airlines worldwide. The TSA is an important milestone in offering airline customers the option to purchase the GEE connectivity system pre-installed on new delivery Boeing 737 and 787 aircraft. GEE delivers content and connectivity to the large fleet of Ku-band satellite-connected aircraft, with over 550 planes flying with the GEE system over four continents.

The TSA is an important milestone in offering airline customers the option to purchase the GEE connectivity system pre-installed on new delivery Boeing 737 and 787 aircraft. GEE delivers content and connectivity to the fleet of Ku-band satellite-connected aircraft, with over 550 planes flying with the GEE system over four continents. Evaluation by Boeing and GEE is expected to be completed during 2015.
Global Eagle Entertainment to Launch Satellite-Based Connectivity in South East Asia

Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. announced that it has been selected to equip Nok Air with satellite-based connectivity and content services across its entire fleet. This is a first for a South East Asian carrier, with Nok Air being the first airline to benefit from a partnership between Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE) and Thaicom Public Company Limited (THAICOM). In addition to Nok Air, GEE and THAICOM will jointly develop, implement and support inflight connectivity solutions for airlines in Thailand and across South East Asia.
