halberd corp (HALB) Key Developments
Halberd Corporation announced that they have entered into an exclusive manufacturing, marketing and distribution contract with Gevers Aircraft Company. The unique patented design of the 'triphibious' airframe gives this high performance aircraft the ability to take off and land on snow, water and land. Halberd has additional uses in mind for this airframe that will elaborate on in the future, but are currently being sought after by various branches of the military. The multipurpose landing gear, telescopic wings and interconnected propeller system provide increased utility, performance, and safety.
Halberd Corporation and JC Funding II LLC announced they have partnered to offer financing and Insurance to facilitate Halberd's clients in contracting and purchasing UAS carried by platforms. This allows individuals and companies without access to the vast resources of the military and other government agencies to be able to purchase technologies needed to perform the complex missions needed. The insurance allows for users to replace equipment should a loss occur. Halberd is continuing negotiations with industry partners and various government agencies to broaden the company's depth in the UAS market especially in the Precision Agriculture Industry. Due to a change in FAA regulations, this allows for UAS platforms to weigh 55lbs which increases the payload capacity for Electronic Optics and Infra Red technology required for agricultural applications and a large untapped market for UAS.
Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. announced that the company and its joint venture partner Halberd Corporation have been focusing on completing sales contracts for Sense & Avoid enabled UAVs and drones. ADTI and Halberd expect large-scale proliferation of drones and UAV use to be contingent upon adequate sense, detect, and avoidance capabilities that would prevent collisions with structures and other aircrafts. ADTI, Halberd and its partners are working to harness unprecedented intelligence; surveillance, reconnaissance, and communication systems to incorporate sense and avoid capabilities taking drone and UAV technology to a commercially viable level.
Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. announced that it has signed a joint venture with Halberd Corporation to build next generation drones and UAVs. The joint venture focuses on short and long range drones/UAV for both defense and commercial markets. Global spending on drones is forecast to nearly double in the next decade, growing to $11.3 billion a year according to industry research firm Teal Group. The joint venture combines ADTI's and Halberd's core technologies to develop a cost-effective, next generation drone and UAV system. The payload system will utilize ADTI's microwave/millimeter-wave circuits, subsystems and system designs including wideband phased array antenna designs, T/R modules, transceivers, electronically steered antennas (ESA), and wideband RF antenna systems. The aircraft systems will utilize Halberds short and long-range Unmanned Aircraft and drone technology incorporating advanced composite construction techniques and ultra light materials. The combined Companies will be delivering flexible, mission specific drones and UAVs that will perform various simple and complex missions.
