ICF International Inc. Wins $24 Million Contract with Major U.S. Utility

ICF International has been awarded a new contract from a major U.S. utility to provide habitat restoration program management services following construction of a 500kV electrical transmission line. The contract has a value of $24 million and a term of five years. Under the terms of the contract, ICF will oversee restoration of environmentally sensitive lands that were disturbed during construction. ICF has provided environmental permitting and compliance services to support construction for the past four years.
ICF International Names Stephen Van Beek and Dennis Cary Vice Presidents for its Aviation and Aerospace Business

ICF International has named Stephen Van Beek and Dennis Cary vice presidents for ICF's aviation and aerospace business. Mr. Van Beek has more than 25 years of experience in aviation and airports, with emphasis on legislative and regulatory policy, strategic planning and governance and finance. Mr. Cary has more than 20 years of experience in the airline industry as an executive and management consultant, primarily in marketing, sales, revenue management and strategy. Prior to joining ICF, Mr. Van Beek held several executive positions, including: executive director at LeighFisher Inc., where he managed aviation, surface transportation and multimodal transportation policy and industry strategy; president and chief executive officer at Eno Transportation Foundation, an organization whose mission is to cultivate creative and visionary leadership for the transportation sector; and executive vice president at Airports Council International, where he headed up policy for the trade association representing U.S. and Canadian airports. Prior to joining ICF, Mr. Cary was senior vice president, chief marketing and customer officer at United Airlines, where he led an initiative to redefine the company's customer strategy and create the first customer experience organization. Most recently, Mr. Cary was as an independent management consultant serving several airline clients in partnership with leading aviation consulting firms.

ICF International Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net income was $9.72 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, compared to $10.11 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, for the same quarter ended March 31, 2013. Operating income for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014 was $16.65 million, compared to $17.65 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2013. Income before income taxes for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014 was $15.90 million, compared to $16.96 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2013.
