IceWEB, Inc. announced that Canada-based University will initially deploy IceBOX for 1,500 Faculty and Staff members with a plan to include more than 20,000 students in phase two of the project. Additionally, the customer added the IceWEB 2250 13.5TB Unified Storage Appliance with SSD IceCACHE and IceSTORM Operating Systems to accommodate its growth plans and leverage the 2250's replication and disaster recovery capabilities.

The S1200 comes standard with the IceBOX software and 1TB of data capacity, ideal for the small customer requiring simple file sharing and collaboration coupled with the use of mobile devices for access.

IceWEB, Inc. announced that it has completed a sale of its flagship IceBOX "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) cloud collaboration platform to a Medical University in the Midwest, making an entry into the healthcare industry. In a release, the company said that it is providing a complete IceBOX on-premise solution so that its customers can manage up to 1,000 users while also meeting the strict Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) data storage requirements which prevents most health care facilities from benefiting from the BYOD capabilities of the Cloud.

IceWEB, Inc. announced that it has won a repeat order for data storage to be deployed in the United Kingdom. The customer who previously has deployed an IceWEB system for its VMware infrastructure is now purchasing more storage for deployment in the UK, through nDataStor, Inc., a key IceWEB reseller.
