Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. and Starbucks Coffee Company announced amended terms to the companies' existing five-year agreement. The companies have updated their agreement to continue to expand Starbucks range of K-Cup(R) pack offerings and to promote expanded consumer choice as Keurig continues to build its Keurig(R) brewing system. In exchange for eliminating the super-premium coffee exclusivity terms of the existing agreement Starbucks will receive improved business terms, including significantly expanded Starbucks K-Cup(R) pack and variety types.
Starbucks Coffee Company Opens First Store in Downtown Disney District

Starbucks Coffee Company and the Disneyland Resort announced the opening of a new company owned Starbucks location at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, Calif., for the millions of guests visiting Disneyland Resort from all over the world each year. This store will be the first of four to be operated by Starbucks across Disney properties in the United States and will serve as a destination for guests looking to relax and recharge as part of their visit. The new Downtown Disney location will bring one of Starbucks most engaging experiences to customers with technology and content designed specifically for this store. This includes introducing customers to the story behind Starbucks coffee projected across a 10-foot video installation in addition to a first-of-its-kind interactive touch screen that will inspire moments of playful creativity for even the youngest visitors. The store will also offer some of the rarest coffees available as part of the Starbucks Reserve coffee line and Clover brewing system. This sustainably built to LEED standards location will include an outdoor patio designed around a native tree, reclaimed wood siding and a living, green wall with more than 1,000 plants in the shape of a coffee cup that serves as a backdrop to capturing memories for visiting guests.

Starbucks Coffee Company introduced a new core espresso offering through the launch of Starbucks(R) Vanilla Macchiato and the expansion of the breakfast sandwich platform with the addition of four new hot breakfast options, available now at participating Starbucks(R) stores nationwide. Starbucks(R) Macchiato platform continues to grow and remains a top-selling customer favorite. Customers can now enjoy this beverage in three delicious flavors: Vanilla, Caramel and Hazelnut. The Starbucks(R) Vanilla Macchiato is the latest espresso creation, combining the most popular flavor, vanilla, with one of its most popular drinks, the Caramel Macchiato. Starbucks has continued to enhance its food offerings, and this continues with the introduction of four new breakfast sandwiches thoughtfully crafted from premium ingredients: New Slow-Roasted Ham & Swiss: Italian-style slow-roasted ham served on a warm, buttery croissant bun with a perfectly cooked egg and melted Swiss cheese. New Vegetable & Fontiago: Spinach, flavorful sundried tomatoes and sweet caramelized onions melted together with aged Fontiago cheese served on a warm, multigrain ciabatta bun. New Egg & Cheddar: Buttery grilled cheese with melted cheddar atop a perfectly cooked fluffy egg, served on hearty multigrain toast. New and improved Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon: Reduced fat turkey bacon, cage-free egg whites and melted reduced-fat white cheddar cheese served warm on an organic wheat English muffin. To mark the debut of the new premium breakfast sandwiches, on March 12- 14 customers can receive a free Grande (16 fl. oz.) brewed coffee with the purchase of any breakfast sandwich at participating stores in the US.

Evolution Fresh customers in the Midwest now have more access to cold-pressed juice in more than 360 Starbucks stores. This expansion into the Midwest's large market advances Evolution Fresh growth plans to increase its national presence and market share in the $1.6 billion super-premium juice category. The Evolution Fresh business continues to grow steadily and is now readily available in more than 9,000 Starbucks stores and grocery retailers nationwide. Taking a different approach, Evolution Fresh(TM) juices are cold-pressed using high pressure processing (HPP) for safety and to help protect nutrients and flavor. According to Datamonitor Consumer's global Consumer Survey, 55% of respondents said that they are trying to eat as many vegetables as possible, making fruit and vegetable juices increasingly appealing in 2014.(1) By continuing to expand distribution at Starbucks stores and grocery retailers, Evolution Fresh boosts accessibility to nutritious and delicious cold-pressed juice throughout the U.S., including the Midwest's large market of Chicago. Carrying six of the most popular varieties of juice, Chicagoland Starbucks stores will also stock the brand's top selling green juice, Sweet Greens with Lemon.
