TASER Unveils New AXON Signal(TM) Wireless Activation Technology

TASER International announced AXON Signal(TM) wireless technology. The new patent pending, AXON Signal(TM) technology allows law enforcement's AXON cameras to cooperate with status signals from the light bar on a law enforcement vehicle or from their TASER Smart Weapons and offers multiple perspectives by automatically activating all enabled cameras within reach of an incident. Specifically, AXON Flex cameras with AXON Signal technology will be available in the first quarter of 2015. The AXON Signal camera technology will enable cameras to automatically start recording when an officer's light bar is turned on or when a TASER Smart weapon is powered on. All enabled AXON Signal cameras within range will receive status from the light bar or smart weapon and start recording. This feature will offer multiple angles to be captured from different perspectives if more than one AXON Flex camera is on scene.

TASER announced four international orders for TASER(R) brand next generation Smart Weapons and conducted electrical weapons. These international orders from four different countries were received and shipped in the third quarter of 2014. Significant International TASER Weapons orders: Australia: 1,000 TASER(R) X26P(TM) Smart Weapons; France: 860 X26Ps; United Kingdom: 500 TASER(R) X26(TM) conducted electrical weapon; Poland: 350 TASER(R) X2(TM) Smart Weapons with 307 TASER(R) Cam(TM) HD recorders.

TASER International Receives Multiple Orders for TASER X26P Smart Weapons

London Metropolitan Police Service Selects to Provide 500 AXON Cameras announced that it has been selected by the London Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to provide another 500 AXON cameras as part of the ongoing pilot led by the Mayor's Office of Policing and Crime (MOPAC). The evidence collected from the cameras will continue to be securely stored and managed through the platform.
