3D Icon Corporation Board Names Sidney Aroesty as Chairman of its Business Advisory Board

3D Icon Corporation announced that Sidney Aroesty, currently a board member of 3DIcon Corporation (3DIcon), will be stepping down effective April 15, 2013. Mr. Aroesty will become Chairman of a newly formed Business Advisory Board of 3DIcon and will act as a consultant on an as needed basis. Mr. Aroesty retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, a division of Siemens AG in 2007 and joined 3DIcon's board in 2012.

3D Icon Corporation Amends its Bylaws

3D Icon Corporation adopted by unanimous written consent an amendment to the company’s Bylaws (the 'Amendment') pursuant to which it established a Business Advisory Board to assist and advise the Board in any business matter on which the Board seeks advisement. Furthermore the Board established a Technical Advisory Board to assist and advise the Board in any technology matter on which the Board seeks advisement. The Amendment also provides for indemnification to any member of either Advisory Board to the fullest extent provided by the Company’s Bylaws.

Digital Light Innovations to Bundle 3D Icon Corporation's Pixel Precision Software

3D Icon Corporation announced that they have signed a Letter Agreement under which Digital Light Innovations agreed to bundle 3DIcon's Pixel Precision software with its DLi41xx Series of development kits for the Texas Instruments DLP projection imaging technology as part of an existing and now expanded exclusive distribution agreement. Pixel Precision provides DLP developer's with an easy to learn and use GUI (graphical user interface) software tool for the creation and conversion of still images and high speed video sequences that are required for the development of DLP-based products.

3D Icon Corporation Announces CFO Change

On January 28, 2013, the board of directors of 3D Icon Corporation appointed Ronald Robinson to serve as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Accordingly, the company decided not to renew its agreement with Christopher T. Dunstan pursuant to which Mr. Dunstan served as the company's Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Robinson, age 67, was a partner in three large local CPA firms spanning the last forty years, the latest of which was Sutton Robinson Freeman & Co., PC, from 1999 through 2010, of which he was the managing partner and performed SEC/PCOAB audits for several clients, including 3DIcon Corporation. He has been an SEC compliance and accounting consultant for 3DIcon Corporation since 2010.
