TeliaSonera Aktiebolag (publ) (OM:TLSN) intends to make acquisitions. The company reported cash funds of €3.6bn at the end of December 2013. Chief DFinancila Officer of the company, Christian Luiga stated that the company is not planning to use the funds to pay debts. He added that acquisitions are possible and the company wants to be flexible in investing.

TeliaSonera's operations in Estonia, including the mobile operator EMT and the fixed operator Elion, under the
new organization. Kalm worked as CEO of Elion from 2000 to 2003 and has been CEO at EMT since 2003. He also acts as CEO of Eesti Telekom since 2007.
TeliaSonera AB Proposes Dividend for 2013, Payable on April 10, 2014

TeliaSonera AB at its AGM to be held on April 2, 2014, proposed that a dividend of SEK 3.00 per share is distributed to the shareholders and that April 7, 2014 be set as the record date for the dividend. If the annual general meeting resolves in accordance with the proposal, it is estimated that Euroclear Sweden AB will execute the payment on April 10, 2014.
TeliaSonera AB Issues 5 Year Eurobond of EUR 500 Million

TeliaSonera AB announced that it has issued a Eurobond of EUR 500 million in a 5 year deal maturing in February 2019, under its existing EUR 11 billion EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) program. The Re-offer yield was set at 1.483% per annum equivalent to Euro Mid-swaps + 45 bp.
Orange Searching For Target In Spain

Orange SA is looking for a target in Spain for acquisition. Jazztel plc (CATS:JAZ) and TeliaSonera Aktiebolag (publ) (OM:TLSN)’s Yoigo unit are the possible targets, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the deliberations are private. The decision is not made yet and even the decision can also go against acquisition if prices are too high. Jazztel shares rose 2.4% and jumped as much as 4.7% on February 18, 2014, after Bloomberg News reported Orange’s plans. Olivier Emberger, a spokesman for Orange, Beatriz Valverde, a spokeswoman for Jazztel and Masha Lloyd, a spokeswoman for Yoigo declined to comment.
