TeleCommunication Systems Inc. announced the promotion of Ms. Lynne Seitz to Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Safety & Security Group. This appointment of Ms. Seitz, a 17-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, is the latest milestone in her career supporting customers' commercial and public safety initiatives. For more than 11 years, Ms. Seitz has worked at TCS, most recently as Vice President of the Location Products business unit. She was responsible for P&L of the company's wireless platform portfolio,
including mobile positioning, infrastructure, satellite reference solutions and location request routing services.
TeleCommunication Systems Inc. to Supply Managed Satellite Services to the U.S. Marine Corps

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. announced that Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has exercised the first option year period under which TCS will continue to provide Ku satellite bandwidth, terrestrial support and 24-hour support services for the U.S. Marine Corps' Tactical Satellite Communications Network. The additional $13.7 million funding covers the first option year term, for the period from August 1, 2014 through July 31, 2015. This contract was issued under the joint DISA/GSA Future Commercial Satcom Acquisition program. The U.S. General Services Administration and DISA are managing this procurement through the $2.6 billion Custom SATCOM Solutions (CS2) contract vehicle. The CS2 contract has a base term of three years, ending August 2015 with two subsequent one-year option terms. TCS is one of eight prime contract awardees under the $2.6 billion CS2 vehicle, which was awarded in August 2012. TCS is providing the Marine Corps with commercial satellite services to various terminals in order to extend the Marine Corps Enterprise Network for deployed users. As real-world missions arise, TCS has created a cost-efficient managed services solution through a network of commercial satellite bandwidth pools that has the flexibility to increase bandwidth in one region and decrease bandwidth in another region, thereby supporting the Marine Corps' diverse operations.
TeleCommunication Systems to Provide Navigation Solution for AT&T Drive Studio

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. announced that it is providing its navigation solution for AT&T Drive Studio. As part of this agreement, AT&T is integrating the TCS Location ToolKit within the AT&T Drive Studio. Drive Studio integrates AT&T solutions across multiple companies and serves as a hub where AT&T can respond to needs of automotive manufacturers and the auto ecosystem at large. The AT&T Drive connected car platform is a modular, global solution that allows automakers to pick and choose what services and capabilities are important to them in order to differentiate their solutions in the marketplace. From connectivity and billing solutions, to data analytics and infotainment, AT&T Drive also allows auto makers and developers to develop their own innovative and customized connected car solutions.

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. Gets Sypris Electronics Contract for Customized Cyber Training Curriculum

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. announced that it has announced a contract awarded by Sypris Electronics, LLC, to create a 15-course customized cyber security training program to be integrated into the Sypris Cyber Range. The Sypris-TCS partnership brings TCS' world class cyber training into Sypris' simulation-based training and modeling platform that enables a safe, realistic hands-on environment for participants to hone their individual skills and teamwork in countering cyber-attacks. The initial series of classes is scheduled to launch in Asia Pacific this month.
