Tata Motors Limited received an order for 623 Tata Marcopolo buses from various State Transport Authorities. The contract includes 120 units from Calcutta State Transport Corporation, 120 units from Meghalaya Urban Development Authority, 73 units from Tripura Urban Transport Company Limited, 270 units from Assam State Transport Corporation and 40 units from Chattisgarh (Naya Raipur Development Authority).
Tata Motors Raises $750 Million Via Fixed Rate Senior Notes

Tata Motors Ltd. announced the raising of $750 million by issuing a dual-tranche Senior Unsecured Notes to investors in Asia and Europe in transaction that was closed on October 23, 2014. The Notes issues include $500 million Senior Unsecured Notes due 2020 at a coupon of 4.625% per annum and $250 million Senior Unsecured Notes due 2024 at a coupon of 5.750% per annum. The Notes are expected to be settled by October 30, 2014.
Tata Motors Launches New Range of Ultra Trucks in Sri Lanka

Tata Motors announced the launch of its new range of Ultra trucks in Sri Lanka. Trucks under the premium Ultra range are equipped with safety and comfort features including tiltable and telescopics steering column, cable shift gearbox, front disc and rear drum brakes. The company has launched the intermediate and light commercial vehicles in gross vehicle weight (GVW) ratings of 6.0, 8.0, and 9.0 tonnes.
Tata Launches Diesel-Powered Range of New Vehicles in Philippines

Tata Motors launched a range of new models powered by diesel in the Philippines. Tata's exclusive distributor in the country, Pilipinas Taj Autogroup, has introduced what are termed by the automaker as the 'Big-7': the Indigo Diesel at a price of PHP 525,000 (USD 11,669); the Manza Aura Diesel sedan (PHP 738,000); the Indica Diesel (PHP 545,000); the Vista Ignis Diesel hatchback (PHP 678,000); the 2015 Xenon XT Diesel pick-up (in both all-wheel and front-wheel-drive options, with prices starting at PHP 805,000); and the Super Ace and Ace Bata commercial-duty trucks at a starting price of PHP 360,000.

Tata Motors Limited reported sales results for the month and year to date sales to September 2014. Total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in September 2014 were 46,118 vehicles, a decline of 8% over 50,387 vehicles sold in September 2013. The company's domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for September 2014 were 40,874, 11% decline over 45,958 nos. sold in September last year.
Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for the fiscal are 236,594 vehicles, lower by 22% over 304,742 sold last year.
