Mr. John Fitzpatrick, III, who was acting as the chief executive officer and president of US Highland, Inc., informed the company that he would not be continuing in his positions with the company when he was notified that his employment agreement was being terminated in accordance with its terms. Accordingly, on May 27, 2014, the Board of Directors of the company appointed Josh W. Whitaker as the interim chief executive officer and president of the company and as a director of the company, to serve until his successor is duly appointed and qualified. Josh W. Whitaker was Vice President/Partner D2M from June 2010 through Jan. 2014 and continues to sit on the board of directors, where he is responsible for company strategy, branding, sales, marketing, product development, brand strategy, vertical sales partnerships and technology licensing.

US Highland, Inc. announced the formalization of a strategic partnership with NIRA Control AB (NIRA). US Highland and NIRA have assembled a team of experts for the customization of ECUs tailored specifically to US Highland's powertrains, motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs. US Highland is now in great position for mass production of engine and vehicle platforms with anticipated production of select models in the fall of 2012. NIRA ECUs are exceptionally versatile and will allow US Highland to offer its customers a wide array of products with very flexible high performance characteristics.
