Vartech Systems Inc. has added a new sunlight readable, 19 inch, high brightness, 1000 nits, touch screen computer to their line of rugged ToughStation IPCs. The newly released 19 inch, VESA Mount computers are housed in a fully gasket-sealed 316 stainless steel, NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure as well as a NEMA 4 (IP65) black powder coated construction. This system is integrated with a powerful Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor with an optional T4500 2.30 GHz 800 MHz FSB Intel Dual Core Processor. System memory is expandable to 4GB.

Vartech Systems Inc. Designs Full Line of 20.1 Inch Daylight Viewable Displays

Vartech Systems Inc. designed a full line of 20.1 inch daylight viewable displays to incorporate LED enhanced back lit technology meeting the growing demands for high bright screens in larger sizes. Added across the entire product line of the CrystalVue sunlight readable display series, these 20.1 inch monitors are available in a variety of mounting configurations such as panel mount, VESA 100mm mount, rack mount, chassis mount (open frame) and table top. Select mounting configurations such as the panel mount 20.1 inch daylight readable monitor can be constructed with a NEMA 4 (IP65) or NEMA 4X (IP66) front bezel to ensure ingress protection against harsh environmental elements. The new series of 20.1 Inch sunlight viewable displays come equipped with a large number of features. The advanced LED backlighting system allows for up to 800 nits brightness at an optimal operating temperature range of 0 to 50C at UXGA (1600 x 1200) resolution. These models also allow for maximum connectivity with a multitude of Video Inputs: HD15(F), DVI-D Pin, (NTSC /PAL) 5 PIN MINI—DIN (S-Video) and HD15(M) - 5xBNC(F) Interface Cable. Ideal for high ambient lighting conditions, the new 20.1 inch LED back lit sunlight viewable displays are suited for environmental applications such as factory floors, assembly lines, automation, packaging facilities, visual inspection stations, outdoor signage, pharmaceutical, outdoor kiosks, chemical and food processing.

Vartech Systems Inc. Releases Next Generation in Rugged Panel Mount Configuration Computing

Vartech Systems Inc. has introduced a new industrial motherboard into the 10.4” panel pc, all-in-one, touch screen computer. The new configuration is available with Intel’s Dual Core Processor as well as the i3, i5 or i7 core processors. Up to 8GB of system memory is available when coupled with the “i” series core processors. The impressive I/O interface of the new 10.4” panel pc can consist of 2 x SATA 6Gb/s with 5V SATA power connector, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x RS-232, 1 x RS-422/485, 1 x 6-pin header for KB/MS and 4 x USB 3.0 for the fastest data access retrieval available. Display outputs include analog CRT and DVI by DVI-I connector, 18/24-bit dual channel and Dual HDMI supports resolution up to 1080p. Three independent displays can be supported via the 2 HDMI and DVI-I connections through Windows 7 operating system. Vartech’s 10.4 inch all-in-one panel pc industrial touch screen computer can be constructed with either a NEMA 4 (IP65) or NEMA 4X (IP66) front bezel to provide protection from harsh environments where falling dirt, dust, debris and splashing or hose-directed water may be present. All of Vartech’s panel pc computers come equipped with resistive touch technology eliminating the need for a mouse and keyboard. A multitude of touch devices can activate the touch interface such as fingers, fingernails, gloved hands and styluses. Vartech Systems Inc. Announces Available in Native XGA 1024 X 768 Resolution

Vartech Systems Inc. has improved its entire line of 12.1 daylight viewable monitors by now offering them with a standard XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. This satisfies many industry needs by providing smaller sunlight readable displays at higher resolutions. These new high resolution monitors are available in all mounting configurations including panel mount, VESA wall mount and chassis console mount. Additionally, the sunlight viewable 12.1” panel mount configuration is available in either NEMA 4 (IP65) or NEMA 4X front bezel construction. The daylight viewable monitors are capable of operating in an ultra-wide temperature range of -10 to 50C with optional extended temperatures of -40 to 55C. Touch screen technologies are optional on the CrystalVue series of sunlight readable monitors and can include resistive touch screen, capacitive touch screen or VarTech’s Armor Touch technology. An external full-range dimming dial is also optional for 0 to 100% display illumination when more or less backlight intensity is needed. Power supplies of 12VDC are standard and 24VDC, 9 to 36VDC, or 90-264 V AC power are also available. The new XGA resolution 12.1 inch sunlight readable display monitors can serve in many demanding and high ambient lighting environments. Some configurations are ideal for mobile uses such as vehicle mount monitors or heavy outdoor equipment used in mining, construction, warehousing, automation, factory floors, packaging and assembly.
