Wanderport Corporation confirmed the successful completion of its microwave energy tank-less water heater functioning with its proprietary, revolutionary microwave heat-engine technology. According to the company, the unit, better known as the multi-cavity microwave heating unit (MCMHU), is Wanderport's immensely improved second generation test unit believed to be the "first of its kind" worldwide. The MCMHU has recently undergone successful water flow tests at municipal pressure levels and is equipped with a unique and improved heat exchanger design. The MCMHU utilizes customized water cooled magnetrons and adapted transformers to optimize performance efficiency in contrast to existing water heater technologies. Wanderport is delighted to confirm the electrical functionality of the MCMHU and certifies the unit's capacity to heat water substantially and economically using microwave energy or radio-frequency in place of traditional heat elements and thermal transfer. Recent adjustments and performance trials flowing water through the electrically operating MCMHU have given Wanderport renewed reason to believe their innovative heat engine technology can be a leader in the aforementioned tank-less and storage tank water heating marketplace.

Wanderport Corporation announced the approval of a new and expanded commitment with Design 1st Inc. Building upon the successful completion and testing of the single cavity microwave energy tank-less water heater (SCMHU), Wanderport and Design 1st Inc. have agreed to a new mandate for the production of the 'point of use' multi cavity microwave energy tank-less water heater (MCMHU). The MCMHU will be a more powerful SCMHU incorporating an improved heat exchanger and the latest UL(R) safety recommendations forming the basis of Wanderport's anticipated commercial product. This 'level one' MCMHU will employ four heat exchange chambers and is intended to be used in a residential 'single point of use' application such as an individual kitchen or bathroom. The company's intention is to move beyond the lab and into residential beta tests with this unit. Design 1st Inc. has begun working towards the MCMHU and presently do not foresee a lengthy production process.

Wanderport Corporation announced the filing of an additional patent application characterized by its unique new heat exchanger integrating an exclusive safety mechanism offering improved performance efficiency. Unmanaged microwave energy can cause unseen danger. This patent application is a result of engineering a progressive safety feature to manage the introduction of the product's new technology which involves high voltages in the range of 4 kilovolts and concentrated radio frequency energy. The exclusive safety mechanism provides an additional preventive measure in the case of a unit's faulty operation and improves efficiency by providing a feedback loop to the controller, thus permitting the correct amount of energy to be applied to the heat exchanger at any given time. The patent application in no way hinders or delays work toward a multi-cavity "on-demand/point of use" microwave heating unit (MCMHU) currently in development.
