He was recognized as an Advanced Individual by the Shanghai Justice Bureau in 2009, which is an honor awarded to selected individuals who have performed the administration of justice, legal services and other functions and made significant contributions. Mr. Chen obtained his doctorate degree in civil and commerce law from Macau University of Science and Technology in January 2008, and his bachelor’s degree in law from East China University of Political Science and Law in August 1983.
