Mr. Thomas S. Rogers, Tom, J.D., has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Tivo Inc. since July 1, 2005. Mr. Rogers served as an Advisor of Greycroft Partners LLC. Mr. Rogers served as Senior Advisor of Television Development of American Media Inc. since January 27, 2004 and was responsible for developing a video strategy for AMI's many print properties. He served as a key mediator in the settlement between New York's Yankees Entertainment and Sports (YES) ... regional sports network and Cablevision Systems Corporation. Mr. Rogers served as Senior Operating Executive for Media and Entertainment of Cerberus Capital Management, LP from January 2004 to July 2005. He served as Special Advisor of Adzrs, Inc. and Ad.Venture Partners, Inc. since May 2005. From October 1999 to April 2003, Mr. Rogers served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Primedia, Inc. From January 1987 to October 1999, he held positions with National Broadcast Company, Inc. including President of NBC Cable and Executive Vice President. Mr. Rogers founded CNBC, the nation's leading business news channel, and drove the establishment of MSNBC, the NBC/Microsoft cable channel and Internet joint venture. Mr. Rogers developed strategies for the AMI magazine titles, such as Star, in all forms of television, including plans for cable, broadcast, satellite and other possible forms of video distribution, all focused on the potential of the American Media brands in the television industry. He worked at AMI on developing ideas for a health television outlet that would utilize the magazines from AMI's Active Lifestyle Group, including Men's Fitness, Shape, Natural Health and others. Mr. Rogers served as the Chairman of TRget Media LLC from June 2003 to July 2005 and SuperMedia Inc. from January 2010 to July 2010. He served as Non Executive Chairman of Teleglobe International Holdings Ltd. from November 15, 2004 to February 2006. He served as Vice Chairman and Independent Director of SuperMedia Inc. since July 2010 and November 2006 to April 2013 respectively. He served as Vice Chairman of TiVo Inc. from October 2004 to July 2005. He serves as a Director of AirPlay Network, Inc. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Transpera, Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board for Media and Business at LifeMed Media, Inc. Mr. Rogers has been a Director of Dex Media since April 2013 and Tivo Inc. since July 1, 2005. Mr. Rogers holds a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School and a B.A. degree in Government from Wesleyan University.
