He served as a Managing Director of PerSeptive Biosystems in the U.K. Following the merger of PerSeptive Biosystems with Applied Biosystems, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden to manage its operations in the Nordic countries. Mr. Stevenson served sales and marketing management roles in the life science industry at Perkin-Elmer and Thermo Finnigan. He is a Member of UK Institute of Management and UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. Mr. Stevenson received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in 1984 from the University of Reading, UK, and an MBA in 1994 from Henley Management School, UK.
