Mr. Thomas E. Freston, Tom served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Viacom Inc. from January 1, 2006 to September 2006. Mr. Freston served as Co-President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of CBS Corporation since June 2004. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MTV Networks Company since 1987 and was responsible for its 96 owned and operated television programming networks, among them MTV: Music Television, MTV2, VH1, mtvU, Nickelodeon/Nick ... at Nite, Comedy Central, Noggin, TV Land, Spike TV, CMT, and The Digital Suite, which consists of thirteen music and children's programming services, as well as MTV Networks' portfolio of leading Internet properties. Mr. Freston has held a succession of positions with MTV Networks, culminating in his appointment in 1987 as Chief Executive Officer. Since then, he has successfully driven MTV Networks into new markets both domestically and overseas. Under his leadership, MTV Networks has created some of the world's strongest and most successful television networks, and guided those properties to record ratings, revenue and reach. Mr. Freston began his career in advertising. Mr. Freston serves as a Director of NYC2012, Inc. He has been Director of DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. since September 25, 2007. He serves as Member of Advisory Board at The Raine Group, LLC. He serves as Trustee of Asia Society. He serves as Member of the Strategic Advisory Board at Shelter Capital Partners. He served as a Director of Viacom Inc. from September 2005 to September 5, 2006; and Director of CBS Corporation since December 2005. He serves on the board of the American Museum of Natural History and Vice Holdingd Inc. He earned his B.A. from St. Michael's College and an M.B.A. from New York University.
