Ms. Judy McGrath served as the Chief Executive Officer of MTV Networks of Viacom Inc. from July 2004 to May 5, 2011. Ms. McGrath served as MTV Networks Group President, responsible for MTV, MTV2, VH1, CMT, Comedy Central and the recently announced LOGO, set to launch in 2005. Over the years, she has put together a uniquely talented group of programmers, music-lovers, producers and writers who have set high standards for creative excellence and business leadership. Ms. McGrath joined Warner Amex Satellite Entertainment Company (WASEC), MTV Networks predecessor company since 1981 as a copywriter in MTV's On-Air Promotions department and made her mark with contests like "Devo Goes Hawaiian" and "One Night Stand with Journey." She subsequently moved up the ranks and became Editorial Director, MTV; Executive Vice President and Creative Director, MTV; and then President, MTV. Ms. McGrath served as Copy Chief of Glamour magazine and Senior Writer for Mademoiselle Magazine. She served as the Chairman of MTV Networks of Viacom Inc. from July 2004 to May 5, 2011. She has been Director of American Red Cross since January 26, 2011. She serves on the board of New York City Ballet, McCarton School and Rock the Vote, and serves on the advisory board of LifeBeat. She also serves as Director of National Cable & Telecommunications Association. She served as a Director of MTV Networks until May 5, 2011.
