He served as President of EchoStar Technologies Corporation. He served as Chief Architect of the technological foundation upon which the success of DISH Network was founded. His career includes positions at Xerox Corporation, Tandon Corporation, Eastman Kodak and Award Software. Prior to joining EchoStar, he served as Vice President of Engineering of Tandon Corporation, Director of Product Marketing and Director of Engineering. He was ECC's Chief Technology Officer, and prior to 2004 was its President and Chief Operating Officer. In that capacity, he was responsible for, among other things, all operations except legal, finance and accounting at ECC. He also served at Xerox Corporation for 15 years holding a variety of positions. He serves as Director of Echostar Holding Corp. and Hughes Satellite Systems Corporation. Mr. Dugan has been a Director of Echostar Communications Corp. since May 6, 2004. He serves as Member of Advisory Board of Xavient Information Systems, Inc. He served as Director of Frontier Communications Corp. (formerly, Citizens Communications Co.) from November 2006 to November 17, 2009. He served as Director of Dish Network Corp. since May 6, 2004. He served one year on EchoStar board of directors from 2002 to 2003. Mr. Dugan received an Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronic Technology from Pennsylvania State University and the Rochester Institute of Technology, respectively.
