Mr. Kenneth W. Lowe, Ken, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Shopzilla, Inc. Mr. Lowe has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and President of Scripps Networks Interactive Inc., an affiliate of The Travel Channel, LLC since June 2008. He began his career when he built his first radio station on his family's farm near Westfield, North Carolina. His official career in radio starts with Southern Broadcasting in 1969 and continued with various management positions in radio and television with Harte-Hanks Broadcasting in the late 1970s. He serves as Board Chair for Cincinnati USA Partnership and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Zoological Society of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Museum Center. He served as Chairman of Knoxville-based Scripps Networks from 1994 to January 2000. Mr. Lowe serves on the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) and the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. He has been a Director of Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. since 2008. He serves as a Trustee of the Fine Arts Fund and a member of the Board of Visitors and Board of Advisors of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves as a Director Emeritus of Fifth Third BanCorp and served as its Director since January 2004. He served as a Director of Fifth Third Bank. He served as a Director of The Associated Press. He served as a Director of The E. W. Scripps Company from January 2000 to July 1, 2008. He serves on the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill board of visitors and the board of advisors to the university's Department of Communication. Mr. Lowe studied Bachelor of Arts degree in radio, television and motion pictures from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
