Mr. Angelson served as the Chairman of WorldColor from July 2009 to July 2010; Quad/Graphics, Inc.; World Color Press Inc. since July 2009; MidOcean Partners and MidOcean Partners from 2007 to 2009. Previously, he served as Deputy Chairman at Big Flower Press, and its successor, Vertis. At Big Flower, he was involved in approximately 30 acquisitions and related financings, and the $2 billion leveraged recapitalization and sale of control of the company. He also served as Deputy Chairman of Chancery Lane Capital in New York. From 1982 to 1995, he practiced at Sidley & Austin, serving as the Co-Chair of International Operations and Resident Managing Partner of its offices in Singapore, New York and London. During this period, Mr. Angelson participated in the development of substantial, successful law practices in each of those cities. He has been a Director of NewPage Corporation since December 21, 2012. He served as a Director of WorldColor from July 2009 to July 2010; Quad/Graphics from July 2010 to April 2011; R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company from 2001 to April 30, 2007 and Moore Wallace since November 2001. He is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and of the Pilgrims, a Trustee of the Institute of International Education and of Northwestern University, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce. He was widely recognized for his leadership, team building, deal making and corporate integration skills and work ethic. In 2005, he received the Harold H. Hines, Jr., Award, from the United Negro College Fund, given annually to those who have demonstrated their commitment to UNCF and its mission. In 2006, he gave the commencement address and was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Laws by the John Marshall Law School. Mr. Angelson graduated from Rutgers College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and from Rutgers Law School.
