Ms. Chaffin served as Director of Informatica Corporation from December 2001 to October 1, 2008. She is a Member of the CMO Council Advisory Board and the Industry Advisory Board for the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science and Applied Science, President of Saratoga Los Gatos Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. In 2006, Diversity Journal profiled her as one of the “Women Worth Watching” because of her community initiative and achievements. The San Jose Business Journal named Ms. Chaffin a 2005 Women of Distinction Finalist in the Marketing/PR/Advertising Category. She is a Patroness of the National Charities League. She was a Recipient of the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry award. She holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a Henry Ford Scholar and graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A.
