Prior thereto, she served in several executive positions, including Managing Director of Northern Europe, President of Arrow's Contract Manufacturing Services (CMS) Distribution group, and also served as Vice President of Worldwide Supplier Marketing. Mrs. Green served as President of Arrow Contract Manufacturing Services since March 2000. She served as Managing Director of Arrow's North European region and was responsible for both Arrow's Components and Computer Products businesses across the eight countries within the region. She served as a Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development of Arrow since 2002. She served as a Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and head of the global supplier community of Arrow since 2003. She joined Arrow in 1994 as Vice President of Marketing for Europe. Prior to Arrow, she served as Managing Director of the Macro Group. She has an extensive experience of the electronics component distribution industry. Mrs. Green has been a Director of Emerson Electric Co., since November 2, 2010. She has been a Director of Thomas Cook Group plc since July 30, 2012. She has been a Non Executive Director of BAE Systems Plc since November 1, 2010. She serves as a member of David Cameron's Business Advisory Group. She served as an Executive Director of Premier Farnell PLC from April 3, 2006 to June 2012. She served as a Director of Emerson Electric Co. from August 2008 to November 2, 2010. She is an active Member of the Young President Organization, and a World Economic Forum appointed Global Leader for Tomorrow. She won the Woman in Business award in 1993 and in 2007, she was recognized by the Stevie “Women in Business“ Awards as the Best Executive in Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EMEA). Mrs. Green holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medieval History from Kings College, London and a Post-Graduate Degree in Business Psychology from the London School of Economics.
