He has been self-employed since February 2001. He is a Member of Advisory Board at Pine Creek Partners. He has been a Director at Sciquest Inc., since February 11, 2004 and Member of Compensation Committee. Mr. Gillis served as a Director at Cysive Inc. since June 2001. He served as a Director at Cysive Systems and on the Chief Executive Officer Advisory Board of the NYSE. In 1999, Mr. Gillis was selected as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He received a B.S. degree in Management from the University of Rhode Island in 1968.
