Many industry and business leaders have honored Dr. Geschke for his outstanding technical and managerial achievements, including the Association for Computing Machinery, the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Carnegie-Mellon University, the National Computer Graphics Association, and the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a recipient of the John W. Gardner Leadership Award and the Entrepreneur of the Year from Ernst & Young, Merrill Lynch and Inc. Magazine. In 2000, Mr. Geschke was ranked the seventh most influential graphics person of the last millennium by Graphic Exchange magazine. He received the Medal of Achievement from the American Electronics Association in 2006. Dr. Geschke studied an AB Degree in Classics and an M.S. Degree in Mathematics from Xavier University of Ohio and received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie-Mellon University.
