He served as a Director of Icagen, Inc., from August 3, 2006 to October 27, 2011 and BioClinica, Inc. since August 25, 2008 until March 13, 2013. He served as a Director of Milestone Pharmaceuticals Inc. He has published more than fifty articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the American Heart Association. He is a board Certified Cardiologist.
