From 1966 to 1969, Mr. George worked in the U.S. Department of Defense as Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Navy and as Assistant to the Comptroller. He received the Alumni Achievement Award from Harvard Business School and the Legend in Leadership Award from Yale University. He received his M.B.A. degree from Harvard University in 1996, where Mr. George was a Baker Scholar and a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1964.
