Mr. James W. Barge, Jimmy served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Viacom, Inc. since October 1, 2010 until November 2012 and served as its Executive Vice President of Tax & Treasury since January 22, 2008. Prior to his National office assignment, he was selected to participate in the highly regarded two-year Professional Accounting Fellow Program in the SEC's Office of the Chief Accountant in Washington DC. While at the SEC, he advised the Chief Accountant on wide range of policy issues, including the oversight of the accounting and disclosure issues. Prior to the SEC fellowship, Mr. Barge served a variety of clients in the Atlanta Office of Ernst & Young, including The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Enterprises. In 1982, he was selected to be a participant in Ernst & Young's International Program, where he worked in London Serving a wide variety of international clients. He has been a Director of Scholastic Corporation since 2007. He serves as a Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. He serves as a Board Member of the United Neighborhood Houses of New York. Mr. Barge is a Member of the Financial Executive Institute's Committee on Corporate Reporting, on the Advisory Council for the SEC Institute and a Distinguished Practitioner Lecturer for the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He has served as Unit Chairman and Division Chairman in previous United Way campaigns. He served as a Board Member of Oralinqua School for the Hearing-Impaired in Los Angeles and the Auditory Education Clinic in Atlanta. Mr. Barge is a Member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountant's and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1978 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
