Background*

Ms. Sian Herbert-Jones has been the Group Chief Financial Officer of Sodexo SA (formerly Sodexho Alliance SA) since November 2001 and serves as its Group Executive Vice President. Ms. Herbert-Jones focus is on determining the impact of IFRS standards on the consolidated accounts, assessing internal audit procedures and strengthening corporate governance. She served as a Group Senior Vice President of Sodexo since November 2001. She joined Sodexho Alliance SA as a Finance ... Manager in 1995 and served as its Treasurer since 1998 and Deputy Chief Financial Officer since October 2000. Ms. Herbert-Jones began her career in Corporate Finance with Price Waterhouse in London and Paris from 1982 to 1995, where she served as its Director of Mergers and Acquisitions Department. She has been an Independent Director of Air Liquide Tunisie SA and L'Air Liquide SA since 2011. While at Price Waterhouse, she played an active role in Sodexo acquisition of Gardner Merchant in 1995. She contributed to the merger with Marriott Management Services, the leading provider of food and management services in the United States, devising and implementing an innovative financing plan. She also played a key role in the Sodexho Alliance IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2002. In 2009, she was named "CFO of the Year” at the 10th annual presentation of the award by Le Figaro, Hudson and the National French Association of CFOs and Comptrollers (DFCG). Ms. Herbert-Jones holds an MA in History from Oxford University and graduated from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
