Prof. Christian Trepo has been the Head of the Internal Medicine Department and Head of the Hepato-Gastroenterology Department (Hôtel Dieu, Hospices Civils de Lyon). Prof. Trepo has headed extensive research activities, particularly as Head of the Hepatology research team at INSERM Unit 45, Assistant director of the CNRS LP 5440 Epidemiology Centre and Director of INSERM Unit 271, Hepatitis viruses, retroviruses and associated disease.
