Prior to Sterling Commerce, he served as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of VeriSign, Inc., the S&P 500 Internet infrastructure and communications services company, where he drove the build-out and value-add focus of its treasury, corporate finance and investor relations operations. Prior to VeriSign, Mr. Gatoff spent nearly a decade in investment banking with Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse First Boston and Bear Stearns where he focused on the telecommunications and technology sectors, executing numerous debt and equity capital markets financings, M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements. Additionally, he was a financial analyst at Wells Fargo Bank and a senior audit accountant at Deloitte & Touche in his career. Mr. Gatoff is a Certified Public Accountant and received his BS in Business Administration/Accounting, with honors, from the University of Vermont and his MBA in Finance, with honors, from Columbia University.
