Dato' Sri. Zamzamzairani Bin Mohd Isa, Zam has been Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Telekom Malaysia Berhad since April 25, 2008. Dato' Sri. Bin Mohd Isa served as Senior Vice President of Group Strategy and Technology at Telekom Malaysia Bhd since May 1, 2005 and also served as its Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Business. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Izfatech Sdn Bhd. He began his career in the then Jabatan Telekom ... Malaysia as an Assistant Manager of Satellite Planning and Development in October 1984. He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. He has vast experience in the telecommunications industry and has held senior management positions in several multinational companies within the industry, such as Global One and Lucent Technologies (Malaysia). He worked thirteen years with TM, of which seven years were in satellite related business including a fifteen month attachment with Intelsat in Washington DC. He served as General Manager of Global Business, and Chief Executive Officer of ACASIA Communications, a joint venture between ASEAN major telecommunications carrier spearheaded by TM, before he left TM in 1997 to joined Maxis Communication Berhad as General Manager of International Business & VSAT Marketing and Acting Head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. In June 1998, he joined Global One as the Chief Operating Officer of ASEAN and was appointed the Business Development Director of Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) in April 1999. Dato' Sri. Bin Mohd Isa was with Lucent Technologies Malaysia as its Chief Executive Officer from August 2000 to 2001 and was responsible for managing the overall business for Lucent in Malaysia. He left Lucent at the end of 2001 to become an Independent telecommunications Consultant. He sits on the Boards of several TM Group subsidiaries, including as Chairman of VADS Berhad and TM Net Sdn Bhd, and Deputy Chairman of GITN Sdn Bhd. He served as Deputy Chairman of Vads Bhd since April 29, 2008. He has been Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Vads Bhd since December 1, 2004. He has been a Non Independent Executive Director of Telekom Malaysia Berhad since April 25, 2008. Dato' Sri. Bin Mohd is graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Engineering from Plymouth Polytechnic, United Kingdom in 1984. He attended the Kellog School of Management's programme in 'Corporate Finance, Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value'.
