Mr. Gary J. Flood has been the President of Global Products & Solutions for Mastercard Incorporated since November 5, 2009. Mr. Flood also serves as President of Global Products & Solutions for MasterCard Worldwide (Formerly Known as Mastercard International Inc.), where he has responsibility for the key differentiating products and services that MasterCard delivers to its customer financial institutions. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Account Management ... for MasterCard Worldwide since March 1997. In this capacity, he oversaw all of MasterCard Worldwide's efforts to support its largest global customers and this included managing the customer relations staff, whose representatives work directly with customers on a variety of bankcard initiatives, such as account acquisition, portfolio acquisition, account retention, portfolio profitability, and competitive positioning, as well as co-branding and affinity opportunities. He served as Senior Vice President of Consumer Card Product Management and Development of MasterCard Worldwide, where he spent four years directing all consumer credit programs in the United States. Since joining MasterCard in 1986 as Regional Marketing Director, he has consistently earned positions of increasing responsibility both in the customer management and the product management and development areas. Prior to MasterCard, he served as National Sales Manager of Citicorp's Merchant Business. He studied Bachelor's degree in marketing from St. John's University in 1980.
