He served as President of the non-profit Yale Law Journal Corporation until June 2007. In 1977, Prof. Macey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, cum laude, from Harvard College and in 1982, a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School. In 1996, Prof. Macey holds a PhD in Law (honoris causa) from Stockholm School of Economics.
