Prior to Aflac, he worked in the Corporate Legal Division of the merger and acquisition firm, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom in Washington, D.C. He has been a Director of AFLAC Inc. since 1983. He has been a Trustee of Georgia Research Alliance, Inc. since November 2009. Mr. Amos holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Duke University and an Masters degree in Business Administration from Emory University. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University.
