Mr. Timothy M. Ring, Tim has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at CR Bard Inc. since August 8, 2003. During 1990, he was General Manager at Abbott in the Australian, New Zealand and Indonesian operations. From 1987 to 1989, he was a Director of Personnel for Pacific, Asia, Africa, and Europe. In 1984 to 1986, Mr. Ring served as Director of Personnel for Latin America and South East Asia. Mr. Ring was an Assistant Personnel Manager for the Pharmaceutical Division at Abbott, when he joined in 1983. Mr. Ring was employed at The General Motors Corporation, which he joined after graduation. He serves as the Chairman of the Board at Health Care Institute of New Jersey. He is a Member of the Advisory Board of Ferrer Freeman & Company, LLC. Mr. Ring has been a Director of Quest Diagnostics Inc. since December 2011. He served as Director of CIT Group Inc. at CIT Holdings, LLC since January 18, 2005 until May 12, 2009. He is a Trustee of the Foundation of The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Member of the Scholarship Committee of The Delbarton School of Morristown, New Jersey, and a Member of The New Jersey Special Olympics Fund Raising Committee. He is also a Member of the Healthcare Research Development Institute and AdvaMed. Mr. Ring holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
