Ms. Greenthal has advised and financed media companies for over 20 years, having worked in all sectors of the business. Notable transactions include the $69.9 billion acquisition of Tele Communications, Inc. by AT&T Corp; the consensual restructuring of NTL, Inc.; the investment by Microsoft Corporation into AT&T related to the acquisition of Media One; the sale of the Chronicle Publishing Company, including the sale of the San Francisco Chronicle to Hearst Corporation; the sale of Central Newspapers to Gannett; the acquisition of Overture Services by Yahoo! Inc.; the merger of Time Incorporated with Warner Communications; the investments by Itochu, Toshiba; and U.S. West into Time Warner Entertainment. She advised Comcast Corporation in connection with their joint acquisition of Adelphia with Time Warner and advised the independent Directors of Fox on the buyout of it by News Corporation. As an Investment Banker, Ms. Greenthal worked with many leading industry companies including, Microsoft, Comcast, Tele-Communications, Time Warner, Yahoo, Gannett, NTL, Akamai Technologies, Chronicle Publishing Company, and Fox Broadcasting. She is a Member of the Advisory Committee of Golub Capital. She has been a Director of HMH Holdings (Delaware), Inc., since June 2012. She has been a Director of HM Publishing Corp. since October 31, 2006, Ucfh II Finance, Inc. since February 2007 and Michaels Stores Inc. since May 18, 2011. She has been a Director of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company since June 1, 2012. She serves as a Director of Akamai Technologies, Inc., The Weather Channel, and Universal Orlando. She is a Partner Representative at Universal City Florida Holding Co. II. She is a Member of Park Advisory Board at Universal City Florida Holding Co. I.
