Background*

Mr. Steven R. Grant has been Vice President of Worldwide Operations at TriQuint Semiconductor Inc., since July 16, 2008. Mr. Grant served as Vice President of Technology and Manufacturing Group for Intel Corp. since 2001 and served as its General Manager of iA Custom Foundry. He joined Intel Corp. in 1981. Mr. Grant spent the last 27 years at Intel Corporation. During his Intel tenure, he managed the Fab manufacturing network and was key to driving the manufacturing ... structure and efficiency improvements to record performance levels. Mr. Grant served as General Manager of Fab/Sort Manufacturing of Intel Corporation. Mr. Grant served as Director of Logic Technology Manufacturing with operational and technical responsibilities for Intel's D1C facility. During his six year tenure, he co-managed process technology development and the transition of 300mm wafer production from development to high-volume manufacturing. His latest assignment involved managing Intel's first high-volume manufacturing facility using Intel's advanced 90nm process technology, which produces leading edge microprocessors. Mr. Grant has also held several management and technical positions in Intel's manufacturing organization, including plant manager at four separate wafer fabrication facilities. As a plant manager, Mr. Grant managed all operational aspects of these facilities including numerous process re-tooling efforts. He served as an Executive Board Member of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry for six years and continues to be actively involved in several community organizations. Mr. Grant received a bachelor's degree in Material Science from the University of Illinois in 1981.
