Mr. Schwartz is a Trustee of New York Presbyterian Hospital and Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, New York. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Massachusetts General Hospital. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Regenerative Medicine. He is the Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian. He serves on the Committee on University Resources Executive Committee, the New York Major Gifts Committee, the Dean's Executive Committee of the Harvard Kennedy School, and the Asia Center and Harvard China Fund Advisory Committees. Mr. Schwartz is involved in many important philanthropic activities. He along with his wife also support land conservation efforts through the Westchester Land Trust and the Columbia Land Conservancy. Additionally, they have created and manage an organic farm called Rainbeau Ridge. Mr. Schwartz earned an M.P.P. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard in 1979, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1979 and his undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 1976.
