Before leading the Anti-Infective/GI franchise, he rose through the ranks gaining experience in a variety of sales, marketing, and managed care positions. He is an active member of the Chicago business community and serves on the Kellogg Biotech Advisory Board. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Aurasense LLC. He serves as a Board Member of the National Pharmaceutical Council and serves as Chairman of iBIO Institute, the educational arm of the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization (iBIO). He also serves as a Member of the Founder's Council for Rainbows International, the world's largest charity dedicated to youth grief support. Mr. Booth is a recipient of the Northwestern Alumni Merit Award which is given for high achievements in a profession or field of endeavor. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Mr. Booth holds a BS in Biology from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
