At United Air lines Inc., he held a number of senior positions, including Senior Vice President of North America since 1995, Senior Vice President of International since 1992, Senior Vice President of Maintenance Operations since 1991, Senior Vice President of Services since 1998 and served as its Senior Vice President of Marketing since 1985. From 1999 to October 31, 2001, Mr. Goodwin served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of UAL, Inc. and United Air lines Inc., where he retired after 34 years. His tenure at United Airlines complements our focus on the transportation and aerospace industries. His experience includes airline industry ranging from branding and pricing, to operations, safety and customer service He served as Advisory Board Member of Charter Consulting Inc. He served as a Director of United AirLines Inc. Mr. Goodwin holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Salem College, West Virginia.
