Since retiring from Whirlpool in 2001, Mr. Kerber has devoted himself to a variety of entrepreneurial and pro bono activities. Dr. Ronald Kerber is an experienced executive with a successful record of leading and growing domestic and global businesses. His leadership responsibilities have included innovation, product development, cost reduction, and profitability in diverse, global organizations. Mr. Kerber serves as Trustee at Analytic Services Inc. He serves as Member of the Defense Science Board at United States Department Of Defense. Mr. Kerber served as Independent Director of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. since December 21, 2004. He served as a Director of Atlas Air, Inc. and Polar Air Cargo WorldWide, Inc., a principal operating subsidiaries of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. since December 21, 2004. He has published more than 60 technical articles and is the recipient of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service, the Michigan State University Teacher Scholar Award, the Purdue University Distinguished Engineering Alumni, and Outstanding Aerospace Engineer Award. He was a NASA Fellow at the California Institute of Technology. Mr. Kerber holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and Masters and Doctorate degrees in Engineering Science from the California Institute of Technology.
